When an ancient oak can't cope with it's crown size anymore, it natually dies back and falls. The wood is so dense and polishes up so beautifully.  These pins are designed by nature as I'm never sure what shape I'll discover when slicing it up...Will jazz up any loose knit scarf, jumper or scarf.
